Lafuma Mobilier

Lafuma Mobilier is a French outdoor furniture manufacturer founded in 1930 in the Drôme region of south-eastern France by brothers Alfred, Victor and Gabriel Lafuma. The company’s story began with a metal-framed backpack that became a trusted piece of equipment for French explorers. As leisure travel and outdoor activities grew in popularity, the collection expanded to include folding metal and fabric furniture – the category for which the brand is best known today.

Many of Lafuma’s iconic outdoor furniture designs have remained in the collection for decades, alongside newer models developed with a strong focus on repairability, durability and recyclability. Production still takes place in the Drôme region, and the brand’s design philosophy brings together French aesthetics, a forward-looking mindset and a long tradition of industrial design.
