Description

The To-tie table lamp by Flos elevates the interior with its impressive yet minimalist appearance. The lamp created by Guglielmo Poletti is a technically challenging, but visually effortless example of the designer's skill set, guaranteed to capture your attention and spark conversation.

The borosilicate glass shade features an aluminium handle, which also doubles as the light source, emitting an even, glare-free glow into its surroundings. The To-tie luminaire is designed not only for the present but also for the future – all parts can be replaced if necessary and they can be recycled separately.

Guglielmo Poletti

Guglielmo Poletti is an Italian designer whose studio, founded in 2016, is located in Milan. Poletti, an alumnus of the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven design school, boasts an original approach to design and contextual planning – creating exciting entities, where familiar concepts and materials are shaped into something surprising and new. 

Poletti's friend is known to have said that Poletti was not satisfied with the world around him, so he decided to create his own reality. Poletti's design method is strongly based on intuition and thinking by doing – analytical conclusions merely support action, not the other way around. The prototype of Guglielmo Poletti's Equilibrium chair has been added to the permanent collection of the Design Museum Ghent in Belgium.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
