Ferm Living – Danish design for cosy everyday living
Founded in 2006 in Copenhagen, Ferm Living is a Danish interior and design brand created by founder and creative director Trine Andersen. Originally launched as a graphic design studio, Ferm Living soon evolved into a holistic home brand. Today, its collection ranges from furniture and lighting to beloved items like the Plant Box, rugs and a playful range for children.
The Ferm Living aesthetic is warm, layered and approachable. Its design language combines Nordic simplicity with organic forms, softened by natural materials and earthy tones. Each collection is further enriched with influences from global craftsmanship and architectural traditions.
Design for a home that feels just right
Ferm Living’s products are primarily designed in-house in Copenhagen, but the brand also works with a range of guest designers. Collaborations include functional furniture and home pieces by Says Who studio and Herman Studio, among others.
While many of Ferm Living’s designs have a calm and serene feel, the underlying vision is bold: to create homes that feel deeply human and joyfully lived-in. That’s why the collections also include pieces adorned with graphic patterns and whimsical details.
