Foscarini's Twiggy Wood pendant is a suspended version of the iconic Twiggy floor lamp, designed originally by Marc Sadler in 2005. The Twiggy Wood pendant light features an attractive lampshade made of durmast oak with a dimmable, built-in LED unit hidden inside it.
The wooden version of the original floor lamp, Twiggy Wood, was launched in 2020 in celebration of the luminaire's 15th anniversary. In 2021, Foscarini introduced the Twiggy Wood pendant as a suspension version of the design.
Born in Austria, a French citizen, Marc Sadler has lived and worked for many years all over the world, for example in Europe, North America and Asia. Sadler studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and graduated in 1968.
Today Marc Sadler designs furniture and furnishings, including electrical and technical products and lamps. He has received several awards like the respected Compasso d’Oro design award.
