CableCup

CableCup is a Swedish design company which was founded by Marcus Westdahl in 2009. The idea for both the product and the company came when Westdahl had bought a new kitchen lamp. The lamp looked good, but it had one big problem. It was impossible to ceiling rose to fit.

Westdahl contacted the designer Lars Wettre, who promised to help him to find a solution to the problem. Wettre also invited his colleague Jonas Forsman to join the project. The innovative ceiling rose CableCup was born, and it was put on sale in 2010. The CableCup now has both a Swedish and an international utility patent.
