We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
1200 DKK.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 24 000 DKK.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 240 DKK to 1200 DKK and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 1000 DKK
Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 800 DKK

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

When a business customer from another European Union member state makes a purchase at Finnish Design Shop, 0% VAT is applicable in accordance with the intra-Community supply of goods regulations.

To qualify for 0% VAT:

The business must have a valid, registered EU VAT number
The VAT number will be verified before the order is accepted
For qualifying business customers, VAT will be automatically deducted at checkout
The invoice will state the order as intra-Community supply of goods
