Ferm Living's Vist chair is a solid wood dining chair handcrafted from oiled Douglas fir, combining visual clarity with a bold, rustic feel. The soft curves of the seat and backrest add a sense of lightness to the otherwise robust design, while the flowing wood grain – characteristic of Douglas fir – beautifully adorns every surface of the chair.
The design of the Vist chair draws inspiration from Can Lis, the Mallorca residence of Danish architect Jørn Utzon, often described as one of the finest private homes of the 20th century. The building's fusion of natural elements and geometric shapes is echoed in the design of the Vist chair, created in collaboration with the Utzon Center, which continues the architect's legacy.
