The Bernadotte collection is a true Scandinavian design icon, and even today one of the most popular Georg Jensen collections. The elegant collection is named after its original designer, the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte. The first products in the collection were designed in the 1930s when the functionalist movement heavily influenced the design world. Characteristic to both the era and the designer, Bernadotte beautifully combines practicality with clean-lined elegance. Sigvard Bernadotte

Swedish prince Sigvard Bernadotte (1907–2002) was an internationally renowned designer, illustrator and industrial designer. In 1929, Bernadotte attended the Stockholm Exhibition, which marked the breakthrough of functionalism led by Gunnar Asplund. This experience inspired him to adopt the ideals of functionalist design in his own work. Soon after, Bernadotte began a long and successful collaboration with Georg Jensen, where the influence of functionalism was reflected in the brand’s modern silverware designs.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
CHF 178.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over CHF 2400.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from CHF 50 to CHF 150  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
