The down comforters, pillows and other Joutsen products are made from the cleanest down in the world: the materials go through a meticulous thermal treatment and double dust removal process, resulting in 100% dust-free down filling with no allergenic ingredients or synthetic fibers. Therefore, the products have been granted the ’Allergy Label’ by the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation. All the down and feather used in the Joutsen products is obtained as a by-product of poultry production from carefully selected partner farms in EU countries, and the Jousten bedding is manufactured in Finland.
