Emma Kohlmann

Emma Kohlmann (b. 1989) is an American artist originally from the Bronx, now based in Western Massachusetts. A graduate of Hampshire College, Kohlmann is best known for her watercolour and ink works, often featuring recurring motifs of plants, animals, and human figures combined with mythological themes and the aesthetics of DIY culture.

Kohlmann’s work has been widely exhibited in the United States and internationally, and she has also published several zines and art books. In the design world, Kohlmann has collaborated with the Danish brand HAY.
