Claus Bonderup

Award-winning Danish architect and designer Claus Bonderup (b. 1943) is known for combining functionalism, aesthetics and architectural ambition in his work, which is characterised by geometric shapes, clean lines and timeless quality. He is especially renowned for his long-standing collaboration with Torsten Thorup, resulting in iconic designs such as the Semi pendant and the sculptural Confetti lighting series. Over the course of his multifaceted career, Bonderup has also explored architecture, urban planning and furniture design.
