Snow Peak

Since 1958, Snow Peak has been making outdoor gear designed to withstand whatever nature throws at it. Founded in Niigata, Japan, by climber Yukio Yamai, the company was born from a simple need: he wanted climbing equipment that was tougher and better designed than anything available at the time. So he started making his own, working with the skilled metalworkers of his home region, Tsubame-Sanjo. That craft tradition is still present in every Snow Peak product today.

Over the decades, Snow Peak's collection has expanded from mountaineering gear to camping, cooking, and clothing, but the starting point has remained the same: every product is tested where it's meant to be used. That way, you can trust that the gear performs when it matters most.
