Claire Lavabre

Claire Lavabre is a French-born designer and photographer who lives and works in Copenhagen. She got her master’s degree in industrial design at ENSCI/Les Ateliers in Paris in 2012 and built her experience at the studios of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Inga Sempé and Leon Ransmeier before founding her own studio. Lavabre has worked alongside well-known designers and architects on everything from design and exhibition scenography to interior architecture and art photography.

Balanced compositions are typical of Lavabre’s work: colour, texture and form carry as much weight as materials and functionality. In 2025, she joined the design team at the Danish brand HAY.
