August Sandgren
August Sandgren (1893-1934) was a renowned Danish bookbinder and box-maker, whose eponymous company, founded in 1920, still manufactures top-quality leather products using traditional methods and processes. Some of Sandgren’s creations can also be admired at Designmuseum Denmark and the Royal Library in Copenhagen.
