The Mercury wall lamp by Woud is like a lunar eclipse on your wall – or perhaps a solar eclipse, as the luminaire is named after the smallest planet in our solar system, located closest to the sun. Designed by Jeanette Holdgaard, the wall lamp consists of an angular, wall-mounted metal tube and a round shade. The luminaire’s light is directed to the wall, giving it a muted, ambient character and creating a circular light effect on the wall that evokes images of celestial bodies and events.
