In the Marimekko Siirto blanket, the brand's characteristic stripes alternate with more organic shapes vaguely reminiscent of flower petals. Designed by Antti Kekki, the abstract pattern incorporates elements from two Marimekko classic designs: Tasaraita and Unikko. The Siirto pattern, created using Kekki's typical paper-cutting technique, is both modern and dynamic, while also paying homage to Marimekko's history and pattern tradition.
The cotton blanket is jacquard-woven, featuring opposite colours on the other side. The blanket is bordered with fringes.
