Alessi’s Plissé toaster and water kettle set boasts a dynamic, sculptural design inspired by the worlds of fashion and architecture. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, the toaster and kettle have a unique surface texture that resembles pleated fabric – it is simply too beautiful to be kept hidden in the kitchen cabinet!
- The Plissé water kettle is perfect for both boiling and serving hot water – thanks to the thermally insulated base, you can safely place the kettle on any tabletop. The kettle is equipped with an anti-limescale filter and a safety switch that automatically cuts off the power if there is not enough water inside. The heating element is hidden in the base for easier cleaning.
- The Plissé toaster allows you to choose the toasting level from six different options. The toaster also has a defrost function for thawing frozen bread and a reheat function that heats the bread to the desired temperature in 30 seconds. The “Bagel” function only heats the bread on one side.
The Plissé toaster's detachable crumb tray makes cleaning the toaster easy, while the non-slip base ensures that the appliance stays firmly in place during use. Handy toaster racks are also available separately; with them, bread slices can be removed from the toaster more easily.
