Sabre Paris

Sabre Paris was founded in 1992, when French designer Francis Gelb and his partner Pascale began looking at everyday cutlery with completely fresh eyes. In their Paris home, they reimagined these familiar objects as anything but dull or conventional. The colourful, playful, and boldly characterful pieces they created broke away from traditional table etiquette while remaining thoughtfully designed and highly functional.

Over the years, Sabre Paris has become known for its inventive use of colour, pattern, and materials. From the very beginning, the brand has endorsed a mix-and-match approach, combining cutlery in different shades and prints that, despite their contrasts, come together in perfect harmony. Stripes, gingham and floral motifs are expertly printed onto nylon handles using specialised techniques, and every piece is shaped to feel comfortable and natural in the hand.
