HOW TO JOIN

Membership in the Finnish Design Shop (“FDS”) Trade Program (the “Trade Program”) is available only to professionals, such as interior designers, architects, property developers, and members of design firms, architecture firms and other businesses. Membership is governed by the following terms and conditions, which FDS may modify at any time without prior notice and at its sole discretion. FDS also reserves the right to terminate the Trade Program at any time, at its sole discretion.

Joining the Trade Program is free of charge. To qualify for Trade Program membership, you must complete an application at the FDS website. Additionally, you must create an account on the FDS website. After submitting the application, you will receive an email asking you to create a password for the account. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

FDS retains the right in its discretion to accept or decline any application. 

The sale and purchase of products on FDS webshop is governed by the terms of use published at https://www.finnishdesignshop.com at the time of order. 

YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Memberships are non-transferable, and improper use may lead to termination. Examples of misuse include, but are not limited to: purchasing items for personal use with the trade discount, reselling discounted merchandise through any retail or auction platform, requesting reimbursement of the trade discount when returning merchandise, transferring membership to another person, or submitting false, expired, or misleading details during the membership application process. FDS retains the sole discretion to review and revoke a membership if it determines that the membership has been misused.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT

Members can make purchases directly from their accounts and will receive a discount on all products. If better discounts (e.g., sales campaigns) are available on the FDS website, members will receive the best available discount. The return policy does not apply to orders placed by institutions or companies.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP STATUS

For inquiries regarding membership status or the Trade Program application process, please email us at [email protected]. As a Trade Program member, you are responsible for notifying FDS of any changes in your account information. If you wish to close your account at the FDS website and withdraw from membership in the Trade Program, please email [email protected].

GENERAL

You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username, password, and any authentication tokens. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorized access resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Trade Program Application Form and any other documents expressly incorporated by reference herein, constitute the entire agreement between fds and the Member concerning the Trade Program and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, negotiations, representations, warranties, and communications, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.

FDS reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any modifications shall be effective immediately upon:

(a) posting of the revised Terms and Conditions on the FDS website or Trade Program portal; or

(b) notification to the Member via email to the address registered on the Member's account.

Finnish law applies to the Trade Program and these Terms and Conditions.
