The Seppel cotton fabric by Marimekko is decorated with an abstract print by Antti Kekki. The designer sought inspiration for the pattern from Maija Isola's iconic Unikko print: in this interpretation, the poppies' stems twist and turn into a lush wreath. The pink little gems in this crown are the flower centres from Isola's Unikko, as if underlining the classic print's 60th anniversary.
This fabric is printed in Helsinki, Finland, and half of the cotton used to make it is recycled.
