Description

Finarte's Rytmi rug offers a modern interpretation of traditional Finnish rag rug that is usually made using leftover materials like upcycled fabrics or rags. The material used in vibrant Rytmi rug is cotton which is not only easy to maintain clean but also very durable. Handmade in India, the rug is available in different shades and sizes, making it the perfect choice for enhancing your living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway. The Rytmi rug is designed by Marianne Huotari.

Designer

Marianne Huotari is a Finnish ceramic and textile artist known for her open-minded approach to combining different materials and forms. Her works reflect her deep respect for natural materials, sustainable design and Finnish traditions – which she interprets in fresh, new ways in her designs. Huotari works as an artist at the Arabia Art Department and as an art director for the Finnish brand Finarte, previously also heading her own brand, STUDIO smoo.
