Lasse Sortkjær

Lasse Sortkjær is a Danish designer whose interest in design began in the construction industry. Working with buildings gave Sortkjær a deeper understanding of materials and manufacturing methods, while also sparking a growing interest in aesthetics – ultimately leading to a career change and the start of his design studies in 2011. Although Sortkjær specialises in furniture design, he approaches design as a holistic discipline that also extends to architecture and construction.
