Marjatta Metsovaara

Marjatta Metsovaara (1927–2014) was one of the most important Finnish textile designers of the 1960s. Metsovaara designed both art and interior textiles as well as clothing fabrics, and gained international acclaim for her bold and experimental approach to patterns, colours and materials – she even won gold at the Milan Triennale in 1960.
