Enjoy free standard delivery on small items for orders over 150 €.

For larger items, delivery costs range from 29 € to 149 €, depending on the size and destination. The exact cost is always shown on the product page and at checkout once you’ve entered your delivery address. For large items, free delivery is available on orders over 3 000 €.

Shipping costs are based on the destination, weight, and volume of your order, and are calculated automatically. You’ll always see the final price and estimated delivery time at checkout before confirming your order.

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

If a “large item delivery” charge applies, the delivery costs are automatically calculated and displayed at checkout. The final cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered. More information below under section "An additional surcharge for oversized goods"

For oversized goods, a 240-1 300 DKK surcharge applies unless the order exceeds the 24 000 DKK free shipping threshold. The surcharge is applied once per order that includes an oversized item. The bulky goods surcharge is based on the size and weight of your shipment.

Usually oversized goods have to be prepared for transport by several employees. You can see whether your desired product is an oversized item on the respective product page.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

Please check the packaging of your item(s) upon delivery for external damages before signing the proof of delivery. In case you detect any damage such as dirt, moisture or cuts, ask the driver to log an initial complaint about the issue. If the item has been damaged during transport, please file a freight claim within three days of receiving the order.

We recommend that you receive your parcel personally. If you have authorized the courier to leave it in a safe place and it goes missing after delivery, we are not responsible for the loss.

If the product is delivered on a pallet, the pallet is part of the product packaging, and its disposal is the customer's responsibility. We recommend, however, keeping the pallet in case the product needs to be returned.

International safety regulations apply to the transport of battery-powered products and limit the quantity allowed per shipment. For this reason, a maximum of 4 battery-powered items can be shipped in a single delivery.

If a larger quantity is needed, you can:

• request a separate quote via the online store, or
• place multiple separate orders directly in the online store according to the required quantity – placing multiple orders is the fastest way to get the products shipped.

This ensures safe transport and accurate shipping costs.

Sometimes things don't go happily according to plan, but we are here to help you.

If the product you received is defective or damaged during transportation, take photos of both the packaging and the product. Send the photos and a more detailed description to us on the claim form within three days of receiving the order. Always save the damaged shipping packaging.

DHL Euroconnect shipments are sent from our warehouse a few times a week.

You can track your order within three business days after it has been processed at the DHL facility. DHL Euroconnect shipments are delivered on business days, and the carrier will contact you to book a suitable delivery time.

Please note that your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet, and carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

DHL Express Worldwide is one of the fastest shipping options available. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday during regular business hours. 

Soon after pick-up you will receive an e-mail or text message from DHL with a tracking code and estimated delivery time. By clicking the link in the message, you can choose the best delivery option for you. Delivery can be made to original delivery address, to DHL Service Point or DHL Parcel Lockers, and you can also change the delivery address within the same country.

You will get a notification before delivery and a confirmation once the delivery has been made.

DHL Express Worldwide Freight is one of the fastest freight shipping options available. Deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that DHL Express Worldwide Freight is not available for all orders. 

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address or a post office by a local postal carrier. DHL Parcel is often the most economical shipping method for items that are large and lightweight.

You can track your order within 3 business days after it has been shipped. DHL Parcel orders are dispatched from our warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. After the first delivery attempt, the parcel will be transported to a local pickup point.

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address, pick-up point or parcel locker by DHL or by a local partner of DHL that meets the standards of DHL. DHL Parcel Connect has more than 72 000 collection points in Europe.

You can track your order within 3 business days after it has been shipped. You can track your delivery with your phone–with reliable track and trace delivery info showing where it is and when it will arrive. You receive a pre-delivery text or email assuring you that your package is in the country and will be delivered on a specific day.

You have the option of doorstep delivery or re-routing to a service point. When choosing the delivery to doorstep, after the first delivery attempt, the parcel will be transported to a local pickup point. If delivered to a pick-up point, you will have up to one week to collect the package.

Your order will be shipped to the delivery address via UPS Standard service. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday during regular business hours.

Delivery to a pickup location

At checkout, select the shipping method and then a suitable pickup point from a list of the closest locations, based on the provided shipping address. You will receive an email notification from UPS once your order is available for pickup.

Please note that delivery to a pickup location is not available for all orders. Orders with a weight of over 20 kg or a length of over 80 cm cannot be delivered to a pickup point.

UPS Express Saver is the fastest shipping option available. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday during regular business hours.

Delivery to a pickup location

At checkout, select the shipping method and then a suitable pickup point from a list of the closest locations, based on the provided shipping address. You will receive an email notification from UPS once your order is available for pickup.

Please note that delivery to a pickup location is not available for all orders. Orders with a weight of over 20 kg or a length of over 80 cm cannot be delivered to a pickup point.

Your order will be shipped to the delivery address via UPS Expedited service. Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday during regular business hours. 

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that UPS Expedited is not available for all orders.  

Your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet via the DSV Freight service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

Please note that carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. If you would like your items to be carried inside your house or office, contact our Customer Service. Please note that this additional service is not available in all locations.

FedEx deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the parcel/shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate and estimated delivery date at checkout. Please note that FedEx Economy is not available for all orders.

FedEx will deliver your goods to the shipping address within 1–4 business days after placing the order. The estimated delivery date is based on the shipping destination and displayed at checkout. Deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday.

For orders shipped to the U.S., Finnish Design Shop covers any applicable import duties, including customs clearance, as the goods are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). The customer may be responsible for paying local sales tax, depending on the state.

For orders shipped outside the EU (excluding US, UK, Norway & Switzerland private customers), the customer is responsible for paying possible import duties and any applicable taxes, including clearance and local taxes as the goods are Delivered at Place (DAP).

For Norway, UK & Switzerland orders to private customers are shipped customs cleared and the prices are including VAT and duties.

FedEx deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

When ordering with Fedex Economy Freight please note that carrying of the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service. The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment.

FedEx Priority deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

FedEx Priority Freight deliveries are made on business days from Monday to Friday to the shipping address.

Your order will be delivered to a local GLS Parcel Shop or a partner pickup point.

Your order will be delivered to your door by GLS or a local GLS partner. You can manage delivery options through the GLS FlexDeliveryService portal. 

Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday during regular business hours. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest pickup point.

TNT is often the most economical shipping method for bulky and oversized items such as sofas, lounge chairs and dining tables. Your order will be delivered to the shipping address on a pallet via the TNT Economy Express or TNT Express service. 

The pallet will be left to the receiver for a potential return shipment. Please note that carrying the goods indoors or upstairs is not included in the service.
