Anglepoise

Anglepoise is an English lighting brand known especially for its durable and recognisable architect lamps. The story of Anglepoise dates back to 1932, when automotive engineer George Carwardine developed an innovative constant tension spring mechanism, which allows a lamp to be positioned with the lightest of touch – originally developed for the Anglepoise 1227 luminaire, the spring mechanism is today used in a range of Anglepoise lamps.
