Description

Klaus Haapaniemi’s Squirrel shawl is illustrated with an ornamental setting of playful squirrels. The square-shaped, fringed shawl can be used as a blanket for napping or spread on a bed or sofa.

Illustrator and designer Klaus Haapaniemi has collaborated with designer Mia Wallenius to create a unique range of home and fashion textiles, inspired by nature and fairy tales. The beautiful patterns follow traditional decorative arts but their style and execution are modern. The finest natural materials combined with detailed patterns create a truly luxurious collection. The wool yarn has been dyed and loomed by hand, and the silk and linen fabric are hand printed.
