Established in 1948, Örsjö first manufactured red house paint and small metal components before starting the production of fixtures in the 50’s. Today, the Swedish company is well known for its timeless, high-quality lights, designed by renowned Scandinavian creatives such as Jonas Bohlin, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Mats Teselius, Matti Klenell and Note Design Studio. In 2009, Örsjö became the first lighting company to receive the Nordic Swan eco-label.
