Description

The Ilo kitchen towel is decorated with a colourful yet subdued pattern consisting of panes in different colours. Designed by Veera Kulju and named after the Finnish word for ”joy”, the Ilo towel is made from eco-friendly and durable linen, making it ideal for drying dishes or hands. The Ilo kitchen towel is made at the Lapuan Kankurit weaving mill in Finland.

Ilo is part of the LOKAL x FDS collection, a collaboration created to spotlight local artisans and designers who perhaps are a little more unknown to the general public. Curated by Lokal Helsinki and Finnish Design Shop, the collection consists of unique, locally-manufactured products made in small-scale production, many even by hand in the designers' own workshops.
