Description

Nofred’s Robot highchair combines a minimalist design expression with playful details and considered functionality. The highchair is designed to grow with your child up until 3 years of age: the front bar and leather strap are removable, and the chair’s foot- and backrest are adjustable to ensure an ergonomic sitting position for kids from around 6 months to 3 years old.

As the name suggests, the Robot high chair’s design is inspired by robot characters – the holes in the backrest could be interpreted as the robot’s eyes – but simultaneously informed by the Nordic design tradition. The idea is that the chair should also please eye of the parents as part of the kitchen or dining room décor. Sitting in the high chair, the kid has the chance to be part of the family’s mealtime, allowing the little one to develop both their eating skills and social skills.

The high chair can be complemented with a comfy seat cushion that is available separately.

Bicolter

Bicolter is a design agency founded in 2021 that focuses specifically on product and furniture design, but also offers interior design and creative consulting services. Bicolter’s founders, Spanish designers Olivia Salcedo and Saulo Santana, approach design in particular through form, proportions and storytelling. They want their objects and furniture to emit a sense of warmth and passion so that the user will develop a deeper connection to them – to make the user appreciate the object beyond its functionality. Bicolter has collaborated with EO, Skagerak and Nofred, among others.
