Woud’s Kyoto is a minimalist yet fascinating rug that brings a natural warmth and a calm atmosphere to the room. Designed by AD Miller, Kyoto draws its inspiration from traditional Japanese rock gardens, where distinctive sweeping rake patterns can be found. Indeed, the linear cut piles of the hand-tufted woollen rug reflect these patterns and bring dynamic interest, like motions, to the surface of the rug. The peaceful coloured carpet is suitable for many different interiors, provides a beautiful base for furniture and finds its place in the living room, for example.

AD Miller is a Los Angeles-based creative studio founded by American architect and designer Adam Miller. AD Miller’s portfolio consists of both architecture and design, with products ranging from sculptures to luminaires and textiles to homeware. Trained in Denmark and the US and also having lived in Italy, Miller uses subtle elements and honest, high-quality materials to create holistic designs that can tell stories.
