Description

Stolab's Ikon wall shelf is a combination of the natural beauty of oak and the practicality created by the unit’s movable shelves. You can also create a larger shelving unit by installing several Ikon shelves on the wall either vertically or horizontally. The Ikon wall shelf was designed by Stefan Borselius and it is manufactured at Stolab's own factory in Smålandsstenar, Sweden.

Stefan Borselius

Swedish Stefan Borselius (born 1974) has run his eponymous design office since 2002, collaborating with the likes of Swedish furniture manufacturers Blå Station and Stolab, among others. Borselius studied at Carl Malmsten's carpentry school and at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. His carpentry background is reflected in his designs as carefully honed details as well as an interest in new materials and techniques. Borselius still considers himself an artisan, for whom crafting and experimenting himself is an important part of the design process.
