Description

Luceplan’s Compendium Plate lamp from 2017 is an elegant and versatile luminaire that can be installed either on the wall or on the ceiling. The Compendium Plate lamp has an aluminium body and a dimmable LED light source with a large white diffuser, filling the room with soft non-glare light. 

Designed by Daniel Rybakken, Luceplan’s Compendium family consists of contemporary designer lamps suitable for a range of spaces and styles. The collection is defined by minimalist and geometric shapes, restrained colours and durable metal structures. You can also combine different lamps from the Compendium series to create truly customised lighting in any space, private or public.

Daniel Rybakken

Daniel Rybakken (born 1984) is a Norwegian designer, who lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. He studied design at the Oslo School of Architecture and the School of Arts & Crafts in Gothenburg. In 2008 Rybakken started his own practises in Oslo and Gothenburg. His work occupies the area between art and design and the theme is often daylight and its recreation artificially. He has received numerous awards, including Red Dot Award (2007), Bruno Mathsson Award (2011), Compasso d'Oro (2014 and 2016) and Wallpaper* Design Award (2017).
