Kultakeskus is Finland’s largest precious metal company with a long history dating back to 1897, when goldsmith Nestor Westerback started his own business in Helsinki. Today, Kultakeskus’ operation is located in Hämeenlinna, where the company manufactures precious metal items such as jewelry, tableware, clocks and trophies.

Kultakeskus’ products have played a visible role in some highlights of Finland's history: Kultakeskus manufactured the medals and torches of the 1952 Helsinki Summer Olympics, Tapio Wirkkala’s bowl that was used for voting at the 1975 ETYK conference as well as the silver tableware of Mäntyniemi, the official residence of the President of Finland. Currently almost 85% of Finland’s silver products are manufactured by Kultakeskus.
