Description

&Tradition's Little Petra pouf invites you to lift your feet up and relax. The sheepskin upholstered ottoman is the perfect companion to the armchair in the same series – and why not use it to complete the look of your living room as a partner to other lounge chairs!

Designed by the Danish architect Viggo Boesen and named after his mother-in-law, Little Petra was first introduced at Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition in 1938. The petite, friendly chair and pouf are a lovable example of the Danish funkis style of the 1930s. Today, Little Petra charms lovers of personal Danish design and high-quality craftsmanship all over the world.

Viggo Boesen

Viggo Boesen was a Danish architect who had a great influence on the Danish functionalism of the 1930s and 1940s. The most essential elements in his work were the use of rattan and different upholsteries, that gave a light and organic touch for his furniture and other designs. One of his best known pieces is the awarded Fox lounge chair, which was made of rattan and released in 1936.
