Suomen kansallismuseo

The National Museum of Finland (Suomen kansallismuseo) is a museum specialising in Finnish cultural history and folk culture. The museum was born in 1893 when several collections were merged to form the State Historical Museum, and the current name was introduced after Finland’s independence in 1917. The museum’s main building, one of Helsinki’s landmarks, was completed in 1910, and today the museum operates in ten different locations across Finland. The National Museum of Finland also publishes its own product range.
