Sabine Finckenauer

Sabine Finckenauer (b. 1961) is a German-born visual artist based in Barcelona. She is best known for her works that skillfully blend representational and abstract subjects. At the core of Finkenauer’s artistic production lies the mastery of simplicity and minimalism, often expressed through precise geometric shapes and lines. Having graduated from the Munich Academy of Fine Arts in 1988, Finckenauer’s artistic repertoire includes sculptures, textiles as well as drawing and painting. Over the decades, her artworks have been showcased in galleries and museums across different continents.
