The Duo side table by Woud is, as its name suggests, a duo formed by two tabletops. Designed by Chifen Cheng, the Duo table was inspired by the shape of ’vesica piscis’, the overlapping part of two circles with the same radius. The geometrical spirit of the Duo table is created by two tabletops in differing heights and materials: the lower, metallic tabletop unites beautifully with the upper one made of smoked glass. Thanks to the slender metal frame and carefully balanced shapes, the appearance of Duo is simultaneously strong and calm.

Designer
Chifen Cheng is a Taiwanese-born designer who lives in Canada and holds a Master’s degree from London’s Royal College of Art. Cheng’s designs are strongly inspired by intersections of geometrical forms and different spaces, and include everyday objects as well as furniture. Cheng has been awarded in design competitions such as A' Design Award and Competition in Milan.
