Description

The Tivoli lantern from Kähler's Urbania series resembles the main entrance of Tivoli in Copenhagen. The hand-carved windows give the lantern an interesting, distinctive look and cast beautiful patterns around the lantern when a tealight is placed inside it. The lantern is finished with beautiful white glazing.

Kähler’s Urbania lanterns offer a modern alternative to more traditional house-shaped lanterns. The ceramic lanterns, designed by Mette Bache and Barbara Bendix Becker, depict a variety of buildings whose candlelight, reflected from different shaped windows, creates fascinating patterns in their surroundings.
