Josep Riera i Aragó (born 1954) is a Barcelona-based artist focused on paintings, sculptures and printmaking, well known for his larger sculptures created for various public places. His pieces often represent intriguing machines, such as zeppelins, planes and submarines, that evoke a clear and sympathetic view of humanity, whether the work is a sculpture or an etching. Josep Riera i Aragó’s works can be found in dozens of museums and selected collections in Spain, France, Luxembourg, Japan, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and the US.
