Wataru Tominaga | Textiles

Wataru Tominaga is a Japanese fashion designer known especially for his spectacular prints. Born in 1988 in Kumamoto, the designer has studied fashion not only in his home country but also in Great Britain and Finland; today he lives and works in Tokyo. In 2016, Tominaga won the grand prize in the prestigious Hyères design competition, and in 2018, Forbes named him on its 30 Under 30 – Asia – The Arts list. Tominaga released his first commercial fashion collection in 2020.
