Mika Tolvanen (b. 1975) is a Finnish designer who has graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2001. Mika Tolvanen designs mainly furniture, but also different types of interior decorating products as well as lighting.
His achievements include collaborative projects with a number of well-known companies, including KFF, Muuto, Offecct, Selki-Asema and Zanotta. In 2009 Mika Tolvanen designed for Muuto the Restore storage basked, an eco-friendly object realized with polymer felt obtained made from recycled PET bottles. Restore is a beautiful and functional product which is big enough to store or carry magazines, toys or even a small batch of firewood. Mika Tolvanen is also one of the founders of the Rehti Design Group in Finland.
