Jim Bird | Art

Jim Bird (1937–2010) was a designer turned artist – born in the United Kingdom, he moved to Spain in the 1960s to become a full-time artist. With inspiration drawn from the esthetics of the 1950s, his work is dominated by abstract expressionism. His work has been exhibited in galleries and collected by museums in Spain, UK, Germany and the United States, to name a few, and showcased at the Basel Art Fair, the International Navy Pier Exposition in Chicago, and the International Print Biennale (UK).
