Iittala Design Team | Textiles
Iittala's glass factory was founded in 1881, and since the 1930's – inspired by Modernism and Functionalism – the company has committed itself to producing aesthetic objects that stand the test of time. Iittala's classics include the Aalto vases by Alvar Aalto, Teema tableware by Kaj Franck, and Birds by Toikka glass birds. The works of Harri Koskinen and Klaus Haapaniemi are a prime example of the brand's contemporary design. Iittala believes in timeless, multifunctional objects, created by skilled craftsmen.
