AGO
AGO is a Korean lighting brand founded in 2019 by Woobok Lee and Mars Hwasung Yoo. AGO's design philosophy honors simple and honest esthetics, durable quality and local manufacturing. Its premises are located in the area of Euljiro in central Seoul, historically known as the center of the whole Korean manufacturing industry. Nowadays the area is populated by many skilled artisans and craftsmen with whom AGO regularly collaborates. The brand's name derives from a Korean word for old friends, referencing the history of the Euljiro area as well as to new friendships that the AGO lamps will form.
