Nietos is a lounge chair designed by Mikko Paakkanen in 2002. Mikko Paakkanen on the design: “For me making a chair is sculpting. I often work by making models of the final materials in 1:1 scale. It is not until I’m working with these models that I find the final form for the product. The most important thing in a chair is to find a good sitting position and to realize it in a controlled and aesthetically pleasing manner”.
