The Tipi Chair was designed by Eero Aarnio in 2002. As Eero Aarnio said also about the Pony Chair, and valid for the Tipi Chair too, “a seat does not necessarily have to be a chair”. And this is perfectly true in the case of the Tipi Chair, a funny seat designed about 30 years after the Pony Chair, using the same sense of humour and imagination he used back then. The Tipi Chair is manufactured by ADELTA. ADELTA is the only authorized manufacturer of selected original designs by Eero Aarnio, among which the Tipi Chair. This product, as well as the other original designs by Eero Aarnio manufactured by Adelta, is made in Finland.
