Suunto

Suunto was born in 1936 when a seasoned orienteerer and an engineer Tuomas Vohlonen got fed up with compasses available back then and their unstable needles. He decided to develop a production method that allows manufacturing more stable and reliable compass needles. Over the years, Suunto’s selection has broadened to other products such as diving instruments and wristop computers.

Ever since the beginning, Suunto has been know for its passion for preciseness, reliability and durability. Good design, continuous innovation and taking central consumer groups in to the designing process: The line of wristop computers “Lumi” for women has been designed by women.
