Lisa Johansson-Pape
Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907-1989) was one of the most notable Finnish lighting designers of the 20th century. Known for her passion for lighting, Johansson-Pape designed classics have received far too little attention. According to Lisa Johansson-Pape, the most important thing in designing a lamp is that it works well technically – form and aesthetics come second. As a highly talented designer, Johansson-Pape managed to fulfil these both of these requirements excellently: The lamps are still manufactured in Finland today.
