Founded in 1649, Fiskars is Finland’s oldest company still operating. Fiskars is a leading global supplier of consumer products for the home, garden and outdoors.

In 1967, Fiskars launched the first scissors in the world to use plastic handles. Fiskars’ first scissors had orange plastic handles and the orange colour has become a symbol of the scissors. Fiskars is still the leading scissors manufacturer in the world.
