Kukka reflector designed by Saara Renvall combines style and functionality. It is a gorgeous accessory and in addition it reflects in the dark. Kukka, which means “flower” in Finnish, is packed in a beautiful black gift box. 

Helsinki is the World Design Capital in 2012. During the Design Capital year the theme is to consider the new role of design in a broad perspective and hope that the results will have long-term effects in the future. Perhaps the most important objective is to provoke discussion about how design could make our lives better, smoother and more functional.

The WDC organization has collected an assortment of Finnish design classics as well as future’s hit products for the Design Capital. The designers of the products are partly promising new talents and partly internationally recognized and appreciated Finnish design pioneers.
